Ayden Aguon leads Guam to a historic win at U-15 Baseball World Cup

In their first-ever game in a WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup, Guam topped South Africa behind a power offense.

A big first inning was the starting point for Guam’s historic win in the V WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup. Catcher Ayden Aguon was the heart of Guam’s offense with 3 hits, 4 RBIs and two runs.

Guam had two big innings in the game, which was enough to secure the win. After seeing themselves 10-1 down, South Africa tried to stage a comeback with 7 unanswered runs.

Gerson Hoebing, Guam’s starting pitcher, threw a strong game, conceding just 3 hits and a couple of unearned runs while striking out 5.

Guam (1-0) will face USA tomorrow and South Africa (0-2) will go up against powerhouse Puerto Rico on Sunday.
