SOCHI, Russia – Sports body leaders of the Association of International IOC-Recognised Sport Federations (ARISF) elected Riccardo Fraccari, president of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), onto the SportAccord executive Council at the ARISF General Assembly Sunday in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games host city.

SAINT PETERSBURG (RUS) – Baseball’s Riccardo Fraccari, was elected today as secretary general of the Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations at the ARISF General Assembly, which was held at the SportAccord Convention at the Lenexpro Exhibition Complex in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Taking advantage of his trip to Japan on the occasion of the XXVII IBAF Congress, President Riccardo Fraccari extended his stay to visit Mizuno Technics, the manufacturing center for Mizuno’s superior quality products, in Yoro, Gifu Prefecture.

Riccardo Fraccari will lead the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) for the next term. The reigning President was elected unopposed during the Congress in Tokyo.
