Tunisia launches Baseball5 Regional School Cup

Six teams participated in the Sfax Governorate, and the August 13 preparatory school won the final on Saturday, June 1. Tunisia is currently ranked second in the world in the WBSC/KONAMI World Ranking, its highest ever ranking and the highest of any African nation.

The August 13 preparatory school won the final of the Sfax Baseball5 School Cup against the El Ons preparatory school in Tunisia. It was the first Regional School Cup.

The final took place on Saturday, June 1, at the Sakiet Ezzit hall in Sfax. The finalists won a six-team qualifier on May 17.

The Regional School Cup is part of the partnership project signed by the Tunisian Baseball Softball Federation (FTBS) with the School and University Sports Federation in December 2023.

The ultimate goal is to involve the other governorates of Tunisia and launch a National School Championship.
