奧地利棒協在新會長、董事會確認後將壘球加入名稱當中

奧地利棒壘協會（ABSF）會員大會（ Verbandstag ）確認現任會長Rainer Husty的另外兩年任期。

先前稱為奧地利棒協，無異議通過接受名稱成為奧地利棒壘協會，掌管兩項運動。

董事會成員同時確認包括壘球副會長Gabriele Hardinger、財務副會長 Holger Neyer、棒球Robert Buchelt、少年活動Markus Mastny。

ABSF同時宣布頂級聯盟命名為Baseball Bundesliga 與Softball Bundesliga。

Baseball Bundesliga將在 四月9日開打，Softball Bundesliga將在四月18日開打。
