Mexico dominates South Africa in opening game of WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup

Starter Jason Perez pitched three perfect innings, and the offence needed just four at-bats to score 15 runs.

World No. 4 Mexico outscored No. 6 South Africa, 15-0, in the opening game of the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup.

Mexico didn't waste time and scored two runs on three hits against starter Sithembiso Chuma in the bottom of the first.

The tricolores didn't look back and went on to score 13 more runs on 11 hits. Five players enjoyed a multi-hit game, with second baseman Hector Cuevas going 3-for-3.

Starter Jason Perez earned the win throwing three perfect innings.
