Rain, Rain stay away from Women’s Baseball World Cup
Edmonton (Canada). Rainy weather caused some scheduling troubles on day five of the V IBAF Women’s Baseball World Cup on Tuesday. Two games, Australia vs. Venezuela and Cuba vs. USA, had to be postponed until Wednesday due to rain, while the other two were delayed. Canada crushed the Netherlands in the late evening game to improve to 5-0 in the tournament. Earlier Japan had beaten Chinese Taipei for their third win. Instead of the planned off day on Wednesday, three games will be made up with Venezuela having to play two.
