Riccardo Fraccari, Craig Cress to chair WBSC Baseball and Softball Divisions

Riccardo Fraccari (Italy) and Craig Cress (USA) will chair the respective WBSC Baseball and Softball Divisions for the 2022-2025 term.

Incumbent Fraccari received 48 votes from 75 delegates. The required majority was 38. Bryan Minniti (USA) received 27 votes.

The delegates also elected Jeffrey Koo (Chinese Taipei) and Bryan Minniti as Vice-Chair.
Xu Chen (China), Jimmy Char (Colombia) and Petr Ditrich (Czech Republic) will serve as Members at Large.

The Continental Vice Presidents for the Baseball Division are: Albert Frimpong (Ghana), Aracelis Léon (Venezuela), Masatake Yamanaka (Japan), Kruno Karin (Croatia), Laurent Cassier (New Caledonia)

Cress, the serving USA Softball CEO, ran unopposed for Softball Division Chair.

The Congress voted Beng Choo Low (Malaysia) and Maria Soto (Venezuela) as Vice-Chairs.
Taeko Utsugi (Japan) Mette Nissen Jacobsen (Denmark) and Chong Hoon Lee (Korea) will serve as Members at Large.

The Continental Vice Presidents for the Softball Division are: Felix Okuya (Uganda), Tommy Velazquez (Puerto Rico), Xu Yang (China), Kruno Karin (Croatia), Rex Capil (New Zealand)
