Media accreditation open for Olympic Esports Series 2023 finals

Media have to complete the accreditation form online by Monday, 5 June. The final of the Olympic EsportsSeries 2023 Baseball event is scheduled for 24 June.

Media accreditation for the inaugural Olympic Esports Week, which takes place from 22-25 June 2023 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, is now open.

The Olympic Esports Week is a four-day virtual sports and gaming festival created by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

A Digital Interview Booth will be available with further details to be sent to applicants by the IOC.

One of the week's highlights will be the first in-person, live finals of the Olympic Esports Series 2023 – the global virtual and simulated sports competition from the IOC, conducted in collaboration with ten International Federations, including the WBSC, and game publishers, including WBSC partner Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd (KONAMI).

The qualifier round of the Baseball event is scheduled for Friday 23 June while the finals will be staged on Saturday, 24 June when Chess, Shooting and Tennis run their finals.

WBSC and KONAMI extend the media coverage opportunities with Individual Interview Session before and after the event, which will allow media to do an online interview with spokesperson from WBSC and KONAMI, and with WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS players.

Archery, Cycling, Dance and Sailing are scheduled for 23 June, while Motor Sport and Taekwondo events will be held on 25 June.
