WBSC Softball Americas Qualifier set to begin on Sunday.

Former Chinese National Women’s Softball Team player Yan Fang officially signed an agreement with the China Sports Foundation in Beijing and established the “China Sports Foundation- Yan Fang Softball Fund”. She donated RMB 2 million (283’000 USD) to support the development of the junior softball players.

Castro will look to improve upon Mexico’s fourth-place finish in the 2015 WBSC Premier12 and secure a place in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games by finishing as the top team from the Americas. In the 2015 Premier12, second-place USA was the top finisher out of the Americas.
