Great Britain remained undefeated at the WBSC Softball Europe Africa Qualifier thanks to the victory against Czech Republic, 4-2. Czech Republic clinched today the second place in Group B and advanced to the Super Round of the WBSC Softball Europe/Africa Qualifier at Sportpark Paperclip in Utrecht, Netherlands. The Czech team defeated Botswana by a score of 12-0 and finished the Opening Round with a 2-1 record.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) today announced the Super Round schedule for the WBSC Softball Europe/Africa Qualifier in Utrecht, Netherlands. The field has been cut in half, with four nations remaining in the hunt for one historic ticket to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

France collected its first victory of the WBSC Softball Europe/Africa Qualifier after a comfortable five-innings victory over Botswana, 11-2. Kimane Rogron led the French offense with 3 hits. Pitcher Sarah Benchali got the win, Seth Onnetse the loss.

Great Britain grabbed the second win of the tournament with a 3-inning, 15-0 win over South Africa, by a score of 15-0. The European team scored 10 runs in the first episode and secured the victory.
