GameTime Classics第二十二集：2004男壘世錦賽加拿大與紐西蘭比賽

今天這集 GameTime Classics將展現紐西蘭與加拿大，2004男壘世錦賽決賽爭奪金牌的歷史性對決。第十一屆的這項全球賽會，一共有十五國前往紐西蘭基督城無菸球場參賽。

在1996年於美國密德蘭、2000年在南非東倫敦都拿下冠軍後，紐西蘭以地主身分試圖完成歷史性的三連霸。加拿大則是試圖取得他們的第四座冠軍。

兩隊預賽都在A組，加拿大以5-4拿下勝利，Darren Zack 獲得勝投， Bob Court 與 Rob Gray分別替加拿大打出全壘打。不過，在第一場準決賽中，紐西蘭以13-5擊敗加拿大晉級決賽。 Jimmy Wana是地主隊的勝利投手， Thomas Makea、Patrick Shannon打出全壘打，Brad Rona更是打出雙響炮。

這項運動中最知名的幾個名字在2004年二月8日登上球場，像是Mark Sorenson、Jarrad Martin、Donny Hale、Thomas Makea、Ryan Wolfe與Gerard Muizelaar。

這一天稍早，加拿大在決賽以一面倒的比數7-0擊敗澳洲確保了他們的名次。
