WBSC Congress approves Statutes Amendments to enhance global baseball/softball

World No. 1 France to host 2024 Youth Baseball5 European Championship

The French Baseball Softball Federation will host the event, which will be a qualifier for the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup 2025, at the Clermont Auvergne Métropole-Artenium sports complex. UNHCR Global Refugee Forum: WBSC showcases Legacy Club impact using Baseball5 in Jordan

The WBSC inaugurated a new Baseball5 field in the Azraq Camp in March, where qualified coaches conduct weekly training sessions with displaced children and games against other local teams are organised. The Legacy Club now also supports Baseball5 activities in the Souf Camp, where a large number of Palestinian refugees reside.

Japan Baseball5 National Championship to open on 23 December

The tournament will involve 32 teams and close in Yokohama on 4 February 2024. The announcement came at the end of a Baseball5 officials training seminar hosted by the Baseball Federation of Japan in Chiba.

WBSC Africa announces dates, venues of Baseball, Softball & Baseball5 World Cup Qualifiers

South Africa will host U-15 and U-23 Baseball World Cup and Men's Softball World Cup qualifiers. Praia, Cape Verde will be the venue for Africa's Baseball5 World Cup qualifier.
